Books Program

Eligibility and Scope

Our open access book program accepts expressions of interest from UVA faculty, staff, and students.

Our book program is broadly constructed to include single-author works, edited volumes, open textbooks, open educational resources, and other book-like works.

Note: Aperio does not directly administer or coordinate traditional peer review for accepted works. Editors are expected to coordinate peer review for multi-authored works. Other authors are expected to self-manage and describe a quality improvement process that includes peer feedback.
